About Van Gogh "bonded With
Van Gogh is part of the “artist series” litter and is inseparable from his brother Monet. At just over a year old, he’s hit his stride—a healthy, medium-sized dog (about 40 pounds as of 07/2024) who stands out for his striking harlequin, white, and black coat. Van Gogh’s personality is vibrant and magnetic. There’s something about his enthusiasm for toys—he chases, chews, and carries them everywhere. Time outdoors is his dream, especially when it means playtime or long walks under the stars. Rain doesn’t stop him; puddles and wet grass are just extra playgrounds. He thrives in active families who love to be outside and have a dog-friendly lifestyle. Van Gogh lives with a pack of other dogs and gets along with them all, no matter the size. He’s kid-friendly too, always game for the next fun thing. Cats, birds, and small animals spark his chase instinct, though, so he and Monet need a fenced yard and a home without cats. As much as he loves play, Van Gogh’s equally content sinking into the couch for deep snuggles and naps after a busy day. Van Gogh is currently in Puerto Rico, but once adopted, his transport to New York or New Jersey will be arranged. Ready to bring energy, sweetness, and loyalty into your home, Van Gogh only asks for your daily time and long-term commitment. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
