Eloise has been with rescue the longest—she came into care as a kitten in March 2022. When she was just a few months old, the constant scratching at her eyes set off alarms. Several months and countless treatments later, a specialist finally diagnosed her with allergies to almost everything under the sun. Her daily routine involves prescription food, two allergy meds, and crystal litter. After a year of allergy shots, those are tapering off. The ongoing cost for her food and medication runs about $225 a month, but you get an incredibly sweet, affectionate girl in return. Her foster mom adores her, but Eloise would love a real home where she can settle in for good. She gets along well with other cats and children and handles her medications like a champ.
