About Roman
Roman Foster Location: Beach Park, IL Age/Breed: 11-week-old Pittie/Catahoula mix (best guess) – complete with two different colored eyes! Roman came to Mastro Mutts with a nasty case of flea dermatitis — a skin reaction caused by flea bites that leaves pups itchy and uncomfortable. With veterinary care, a little ointment, and a whole lot of love from his foster mom, Roman has shown remarkable improvement in just a short time. Now this smart, sweet boy is ready to find his forever family. At only 11 weeks old, Roman is already showing off how intelligent he is. He knows the “sit” command, is doing wonderfully with the start of potty training, and does well in his kennel when needed. Roman loves to follow his foster mom from room to room, soaking up the world around him and learning how to be the best boy. He’s also incredibly well socialized and does great with dogs, kids, and cats. Roman especially enjoys playing with his fur foster siblings, including his cat foster brother, and he would love to go to a home with another dog to keep him company. Roman has a fun, playful side and loves chew toys (bones, cow hooves, pork belly roll ups), stuffies, and especially his special duck. After playing hard, he’s quick to snuggle up and take a nap — usually while showering his humans with puppy kisses. His favorite thing in the world might just be belly rubs (he kicks his feet like a bunny rabbit when you hit the right spot ?). He also loves wearing cute clothes and wrapping himself up in his blankets at night. Roman is truly a loving, playful baby who wants to please his humans and learn as much as he can. His sweet heart and curious mind will make him an incredible addition to a family who’s ready to love him back just as much as he loves them. If you’re interested in adopting Roman, please submit an adoption application at MastroMutts.com/forms . All Mastro Mutts are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and spayed or neutered (or adopted with a contract if underage). Each dog spends time in a foster home to ensure they’re healthy, socialized, and ready for their forever family.
