About Trouble
Meet Trouble—sometimes called TJ. He’s stayed resilient despite a bumpy road, having first been adopted and then returned when his owner had to leave for military service. Through every transition, he’s remained gentle and steadfast, just waiting for that one person or family to give him a softer landing. Trouble is happiest with some outdoor time—he likes basking in the sun and taking life at a mellow pace. He would fit best with someone who has a barn, workshop, or a calm yard. He can get along with other dogs but truly has an independent streak and seems to lean toward quiet companionship these days. Despite his stoic face, Trouble is nothing but love when you really know him. He’s crate and leash trained, enjoys his snuggle sessions and playful moments, and is fiercely loyal to those he trusts. He is also house trained and up to date on vaccinations. He’s heartworm positive, but his treatment will be covered once he’s with his new family. Trouble does not get along with cats. Give him a shot at that peaceful life he craves. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
