About Trouble
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Trouble (or TJ, as he’s affectionately known). Trouble has been part of the Marion County Animal Shelter family for quite some time. Previously adopted, he was sadly returned when his person had to leave for military service. Despite these changes, Trouble remains a gentle and loyal soul searching for a place to truly call home. This medium-sized, short-coated, black and brindle mixed breed dog enjoys lounging outside in the sunshine. Trouble would thrive as a companion for someone with a barn, workshop, or peaceful yard, where he can quietly roam and relax. While he doesn’t mind sharing space with other dogs, he’s perfectly happy alone and leans towards a more laid-back lifestyle these days. Trouble comes leash and crate trained, making transitions into new homes easier. He is heartworm positive, but his treatment will be provided once he settles into a loving family. Don’t be deceived by his serious face—underneath, Trouble is filled with love, enjoys snuggles and playful moments, and forms deep bonds with those he trusts. He deserves the comfort and stability of a forever home for his next chapter. Adoption is the new adventure! Ready to roll?
