About Carol Brady
11/10 from foster parent: She is an AMAZING dog cuddle bug with medium energy, crate trained, very excited for car rides but has some fear of being left that we are trying to overcome with short trips to the park and such and calming treats. She know many commands and tricks and is very smart and food motivated. If you grab a heated blanket and let her in your lap she will instantly be your best friend. She is dog friendly as well. She is ready for her forever home for sure and just needs someone to love her! She is a medium size dog and could be happy in a house with a yard to play and run or in an apartment with someone who will take her out to explore and reduce her energy! She does best is not left alone for long periods of time so I would recommend crate for time away with a frozen kong or something to keep her busy and stimulated but also maybe a mid day dog walker to help break up her time alone. I wouldn't recommend leaving her unattended and alone as she does have separation anxiety and can chew to self soothe. This includes beds and other items left in her crate which is why I suggest the frozen kong with kibble and a frozen end of Greek yogurt, Peanut Butter and pumpkin puree or something similar. She love that stuff. She is a foodie through and through and if you have a treat she will do all of her tricks (often before you give command) just to get the treat faster. She is a love bug and not hard to handle at all and she does listen well even when she talks back in the form or barking or these little yodels she does when she is trying to get you to do it her way. She is a talker so please keep that in mind! I also feed all of my dogs in their crates so be sure you feed her there as well unless she is the only dog and leave her food alone while she eats! Great girl and will be your loyal and loving companion for her whole life! Meet Carol Brady (Ci Ci) - Your Playful, People-Loving Adventure Buddy! Ci Ci is a medium-energy sweetheart who strikes the perfect balance between playful zoomies and cuddle time on the couch. She's dog-friendly and loves to play rough-and-tumble with her canine pals-wrestling, chasing, and running are some of her favorite pastimes! She does best with dogs who enjoy active play and respect her space, especially when it comes to her crate, which she considers her safe haven. While Ci Ci hasn't met any cats yet, she absolutely adores people-men, women, everyone she meets! She hasn't been around young kids in her foster home, but due to her bursts of excitement and zoomies, she may be best suited for a home with older children who can handle her playful energy. Ci Ci is house-trained and knows several commands including sit, shake (both paws!), up, and lay down. She's still working on her leash manners-she gets so excited at the start of walks that she may pull, but she settles in once she's had a chance to burn off some energy. She's also a bit anxious when left alone or during car rides, so she'd benefit from a patient adopter and a calm, structured environment. Calming treats help ease her nerves for outings and drives. Ci Ci would thrive in an active home that can give her the attention, exercise, and companionship she craves. If you're looking for a loyal, playful, and loving best friend who'll greet every day with a wag and a wiggle, Ci Ci is your girl! Carol Brady (Rue) is currently in a foster home. Check out what her foster says about her: "Rue (Carol Brady at MAS) is a major lovebug. She listens well and learns fast. She is super energetic and loves to play and run. She loves her Foster brother Miles and they play really well together. I don't think she's ever had toys before and will pull them all out and play with as many as she can, either by herself or with me or Miles. She's great with my 10 year old son. She does not like cats, so, that needs to be considered if you are interested. She needs an active family that has time to play with her and work with her. She still needs work walking on a leash as well as not jumping up, but, she is making progress. She goes in her kennel with a simple "go to bed" command. She loves to snuggle and give kisses. She loves ice and watermelon too! If it wasn't for my new travel schedule, she would definitely stay with me. However, with these changes, she's in her kennel more than out and that's not fair to her. Please give her a chance, as she deserves someone who will love her as big as she loves in return!" Carol Brady was part of a playgroup on 7/25/24. She immediately caught the zoomies and is very puppy-like. She was friendly and social. He greeted everyone that entered the yard and very tolerant of the other pups jumping all over her. She mostly kept to herself, and preferred the company of the handlers. She is a playgroup rockstar!
