He is full of energy and is currently in the care of Mayday Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy, eager for a forever home. Jefferson has never lived in a home, so while his house training status is still to be learned, he is making excellent progress with basic commands and is actively working on his positive behaviors.

Ready to fill your days with fun and shared adventures, he’s an enthusiastic companion looking for someone to match his zest for life. Jefferson thrives on activity and needs lots of exercise and stimulating things to do. Hiking, belly rubs, car rides, and playful time with toys are some of his favorites. He enjoys the company of other dogs and Mayday is happy to help with introductions if you already have a canine companion at home. He’s making great progress with his training—he's already mastered "sit" and "down," and is improving on leash walking, waiting calmly, and not jumping up. Since he has never lived in a home before, potty training is still a work in progress, but he's eager to learn with the right guidance.
