About Ruby V
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Ruby, part of a bonded pair with her sister Iris. Ruby is a tall, slender, and svelte calico kitty, just 16 months old, with striking black and white tuxedo markings and a short coat. Together, Ruby and Iris are a pair of bright, curious, and active cats who love to explore, play with toys, and keep each other entertained. Ruby especially enjoys feather toys, balls, and even has a knack for carrying around a little pumpkin toy, sometimes dropping it in her water bowl—an adorable trick she learned from her sister. Ruby is social and enjoys other friendly cats, and might even do well with a gentle small dog. Playful and inquisitive, she spends her time adventuring around the house, searching for hidden nooks and crannies, and letting you know when dinnertime arrives with a gentle meow (while her sister is known for her more dramatic announcements). Ruby tends to be a bit shier than Iris but is sweet and friendly, and knows how to get along with fussier cats by giving them their space. Both girls are used to a routine, are house trained, and hope for a calm, quiet home where they can be adored together as the center of attention. As Ruby was born on May 7, she falls under the Taurus zodiac sign—a sign known for being loyal and loving, just like her! Adoption is limited to homes within 60 miles of Raleigh, NC, and meeting them in person is a must. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
