About Iris V
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Iris, part of a lovable bonded pair with her sister Ruby! Iris was discovered with her siblings and mom in a caring woman's yard, and she's grown into a tall, lanky, and active young cat. Her light gold eyes, heather orange, gray, and white short coat give her a unique look. Iris is not a big shedder and loves to keep herself perfectly clean. One of her favorite pastimes is playing with a fuzzy ball in her water bowl, delighting in both the feel and sound. Iris tends to be independent and a bit aloof, so she isn't a lap cat just yet. Upon first meeting, she can be shy and prefers to be petted while eating, but once she warms up, she will lounge on her cat tower to keep you company during TV time. She and Ruby are best friends—playing, chasing each other around, and cuddling together on their cat tower. Because they are bonded, they must be adopted together. Both would thrive in a quiet home and are comfortable with non-bossy cats and even gentle, small dogs. They are adored princesses seeking their forever royal home! Fun fact: with a birthday in early May, Iris is a Taurus—known for their loyal and gentle nature, perfect for a steady and loving companion. You must live within 50 miles of the Raleigh, NC area to qualify for adoption. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
