About Roman
Click apply to start the adoption process. Roman is a playful, energetic, and affectionate young dog who is ready to find his forever family. With his captivating eyes and adventurous spirit, Roman is sure to capture your heart. Although he weighs under 50 pounds, he is very strong and always up for fun, whether it’s going for a walk, playing in water, or riding in the car. Roman has a playful and flirtatious personality and is known for being a bit mischievous, but he is just as eager to cuddle and shower you with kisses. He is crate trained, knows how to sit, and is potty trained when kept on a schedule. Roman gets along well with other dogs and has lived with several canine companions—both male and female. He does have a spirited way of playing, so if you don’t have another playful dog at home, be prepared to keep him engaged and active. Roman’s excitement when meeting new dogs sometimes leads to barking, but it’s all in the name of making new friends. His adventurous side means he needs supervision outside, especially since he has been known to climb fences. Roman is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines, including flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He is currently being fostered with Ma Paws & Me Pet Rescue in Watertown, WI, where he enjoys life with foster families rather than staying in a shelter. They are waiting with paws crossed!
