Ginnie is a young American Staffordshire Terrier with a medium build and a short, white/cream and brindle coat. You’ll find her both playful and solidly loyal, looking for a family that can offer her both safety and companionship.

About Ginnie

Ginnie is ready to be your loyal companion and adventure buddy. Since the day she was born in her foster home, she’s been holding out for the right person or family to make her part of their lives. Now two years old (and yes, a February Aquarius—so expect a streak of independence), Ginnie is a compact American Staffordshire Terrier with 54 pounds of lean muscle packed into a smaller frame. Despite her sturdy build, she’s got a gentle way about her once she settles in. She does best in calm settings and can be a bit shy at first, but give her time and her spirited, playful personality comes to the surface. Yard time is a must for Ginnie—she loves exploring, running, and playing chase, especially with other dogs. Supervising garden work and enjoying a swim are top activities in her book. She’s used to having a securely fenced yard to keep her feeling safe, so that’s non-negotiable for her next home. Ginnie is already potty trained, crate trained, and handles leash walks well with a harness. She’s social with other dogs but hasn’t had the chance to meet cats just yet, so her feelings about feline roommates are still up in the air. Spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, Ginnie just needs a family committed to continuing her training and giving her consistent love. She’s spent her whole life waiting for the right fit.
