About Ginnie

Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Ginnie! She’s ready to be your ride or die—a true adventure buddy and best friend. Raised in her loving foster home since birth, Ginnie has spent her whole life waiting for her forever family and will be turning two this February, making her a fun-loving Aquarius known for her quirky and energetic spirit! Petite yet muscular at 48 lbs, Ginnie is proof that the best things come in small, powerful packages. Her vibrant character truly shines once she feels comfortable, though she can be reserved when faced with new or chaotic situations. If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly companion with a spark of spunk and a little independent streak, Ginnie is the perfect match for you! Ginnie thrives in a fenced yard where she can run, play, and show off her natural swimming skills. Her favorite pastimes include chasing dog friends, helping out in the garden, and enjoying a good bone. She is both potty and crate trained, and walks nicely on her harness. While she hasn’t met cats in her foster home, she gets along well with other dogs and would love a forever family committed to continuing her positive training and giving her all the attention she deserves. Ginnie is currently being cared for by Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue, based in Watertown, WI. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on all appropriate vaccinations and preventatives.
