About Jasper
Meet Jasper, a senior Pomeranian with a long red and cream coat, weighing in at around 10 lbs. Jasper survived a puppy mill situation, so he’s looking for a patient adopter who will give him time and understanding as he settles into a more peaceful life. He’s making good progress with house training and just needs consistent routines and regular outdoor breaks. Jasper doesn’t like crates much and prefers lounging or exploring the house. Short leashed walks and an occasional burst of zoomies in a safely fenced yard make him happiest. Jasper is comfortable with other dogs, especially those close to his own size who aren’t too lively. His ideal home is quiet, kid-free, and relaxed. He’s not a lap dog right now, but once he trusts you, he’s friendly and will keep you company. Sight impairment doesn’t slow him down, though he needs daily eye medication (which he takes like a champ). Jasper tackles stairs with some difficulty, so anyone interested should be able to lift him on occasion—though he prefers that it isn’t too often. He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Jasper’s ready to enjoy retirement in a home that can offer calm, consistency, and kindness. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
