About Jasper
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet Jasper! Jasper is a senior Pomeranian weighing about 10lbs, and he is a resilient puppy mill survivor searching for a patient adopter to help him adjust to a loving new life. He is making progress with house training and benefits from a consistent routine with frequent breaks. Jasper prefers not to be crated and enjoys relaxing, as well as short leashed walks outside. While he gets along with other dogs, Jasper’s ideal companion would be of similar size and calm demeanor. A secure fenced yard for occasional zoomies would make him happiest, and he thrives best in a quiet, kid-free home. Though not a lap dog, Jasper will reward patience with friendship and gentle affection once trust is established. Jasper has some sight impairment and takes daily eye medication with ease. Because stairs can be a challenge for him, his adopter should be comfortable lifting and carrying him for short distances, keeping in mind he prefers not to be carried extensively. Jasper is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Please note: All dogs from Ma, Paws and Me Pet Rescue are fostered in loving homes, not in a physical shelter for daily viewing. Think you are the one? Submit an application!

Questions about Jasper
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Pomeranians generally do well in apartments or houses, provided they have a safe, comfortable indoor space where they can feel secure. They thrive in environments with attentive owners who offer gentle companionship.

Pomeranians don't require much outdoor space, as their small size suits them to homes with just a small yard or even no yard at all. Regular short walks and indoor playtime are typically enough.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Pomeranians are best suited for homes with older, respectful children due to their small size and delicate build. Supervised interactions are recommended to prevent accidental injury.
