About Henna

Henna was found near Berry Street in Hayward, originally living among a feral colony, and was trapped when she needed surgery for a large abdominal hernia. At around two years old, she has traded her street smarts for a chance at indoor comfort. During her post-surgery recovery, it turned out that Henna isn’t just tough—she’s got a gentle, affectionate streak and real pet potential. She’s mostly gray and white, sports half a mustache, and has short, soft fur. Henna still takes a little time to warm up, but once she feels safe, she’s friendly and enjoys hugs. She’s thriving with other cats, so a multi-cat home would suit her well. Henna has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, has a microchip, and had a good flea treatment. She is ready for a family that appreciates her quiet charm and gentle heart. Let’s make her next chapter her best one yet.
