About Moxie
Moxie is a beautiful torbie with a gentle nature and an understated confidence. When she first arrived, she was recovering from a leg injury that required surgery. While she was shy at first, her underlying sweetness always shone through. Moxie’s leg is fully healed now, and she’s feeling her best. She’s stayed at the rescue longer than most, mainly because she gets nervous around new faces and tends to hide when visitors come. At home with her foster mom, though, Moxie is relaxed and affectionate—she asks for attention, meows softly, and will curl up beside you at night. She enjoys quiet companionship, and once she feels safe, her playful streak comes out. In her foster home, Moxie lives with other cats and gets along well, provided introductions are calm and gradual. She opens up most in a settled, low-traffic environment and prefers a home without noisy children or chaos. Someone patient and gentle will find Moxie to be a rewarding companion once she’s comfortable. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and house trained. Give Moxie a little time, and she’ll show you how deeply loyal and loving she can be. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
