Delilah is a gentle, affectionate 7-year-old Chihuahua mix with a sweet personality. She came to rescue underweight, but she’s gained strength and confidence—especially outdoors, where she has an easier time navigating due to her recent blindness. Indoors, Delilah moves cautiously and appreciates being close to her people. She will snuggle up next to you and rest, bringing calm to the room. Delilah remains nervous when picked up but is never aggressive, just wary due to her vision loss. She is still working on housebreaking: she uses piddle pads and goes outside, but occasional accidents do happen. She is closely bonded with her mother Mwanna and would be happiest if they could stay together. Delilah has no known history with cats, but does well with other dogs and might be a better fit for homes with older children. A physical fence is requested for her safety.
