Hi, I’m Koa – an eight month old survivor with a heart as big as my name (which means “brave” in Hawaiian). Not long ago, I was hit by a car and left on my own, but thanks to the wonderful people at MPGR, my amazing foster family and lots of care, I pulled through. Now I’m healed up, happy, and ready to find my forever family! I’m a sweet, affectionate pup who loves everyone I meet. Kids? I adore them. Dogs? Instant friends. Cats? I’m gentle and respectful. I’m the kind of boy who will fit right in, whether you’ve got a busy household or a quiet one. Despite my rough start, I don’t dwell on the past—I’m all about cuddles, playtime, and wagging my tail toward the future. I’d love a family who will keep me safe, spoil me with love, and remind me every day that I’m finally home. Our organization is foster based which means that we really know and understand our dogs personalities as our volunteers live each day in their house with our rescued dogs.
