About Shelly
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! After a lifetime of love, Shelly is hoping for one more forever. Shelly is an 11-year-old Cattle Dog mix with a heart full of love and loyalty. She's spent nearly her whole life in a wonderful home, but sadly, her owner has become ill and can no longer care for her. Now, this gentle girl is looking for a new family to love for the rest of her days. Shelly is the kind of dog who makes every day a little brighter. She loves her walks, enjoys quiet cuddle time, and would be thrilled to share your bed or your couch for snuggles at night. She's easygoing, affectionate, and gets along well with other dogs. She would do best in a house with no cats, since they are new to her. This lovely senior just wants a soft place to land and someone to call her own again. She still has so much love to give—all she needs is a family to give it to. If you're looking for a loyal companion, Shelly is looking for you too! Shelly will come fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm prevention. Born October 30, Shelly is a Scorpio, so you can expect deep loyalty and affection from her forever. Make their next chapter their best one yet.

Questions about Shelly
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Cattle Dog mixes thrive in homes with plenty of activity, preferably with access to a yard or regular exercise. They do well in suburban or rural settings but can adapt to city life if exercised properly.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
They appreciate a yard to stretch their legs or frequent walks, as they were originally bred to work and have moderate to high energy levels. Apartment living can work if their exercise needs are met.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Cattle Dog mixes are generally good with children, especially if socialized from a young age. They can be loyal and protective companions, making them great family pets.
