About Maci
Maci has seen the tougher side of life and is just starting to discover that humans can be kind. She spent her early years as a breeder release, so much of what should be ordinary feels overwhelming for her. She’s learned to show her teeth when scared, but that’s just her survival instinct—give her time and she’ll start to trust. Maci gravitates toward other dogs and cats, and she’s kept a clean record in her foster home, with no accidents. A calm environment is essential: no children under 16, and loud noises make her extremely anxious. She requires another confident dog in the house to help her understand how good home life can be. A fully secured fenced yard is a must. Don’t expect cuddles right away—patience is the best thing you can offer Maci. Every bit of progress will be worth it. Ready to fall in love?
