About Mikey
Mikey has spent over 1,400 days waiting for his perfect match and is more than ready to find a home. A big, lovable mix of German shepherd, Labrador, and boxer, Mikey is about seven years old and thrives in a calm, adult setting. He’s outgoing and affectionate and lives for time with his people—expect big smiles, thumping tail, and plenty of lap attempts for a 64-pounder who’s convinced he’s lapdog-sized. He’s great with other dogs of all sizes and handles himself well in a multi-dog home, but no cats or young kids, please—his bouncy greetings and overflowing affection can be a lot for small creatures. Mikey loves basketball, a good romp in a fenced backyard, and crashing out in his crate or by your feet. He’s happiest when life is predictable; bikes and skateboards are a no-go, so a home with yard access where he doesn’t need to be walked would suit him best. He takes crate time in stride and is eager for all the scratches and attention he can get. He’s simple, loyal, and all about his humans—if you’re sturdy enough for the onslaught of Mikey-love, you’ll get a loyal companion who just wants a spot on your lap and a place in your heart. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
