About Kismet
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet Kismet – she’s a resilient and loving Australian Cattle Dog searching for her forever home. Between 1 and 2 years old, Kismet is deaf, but her vibrant personality shines brighter than any challenge. Rescued from a busy shelter just in time to raise her puppies in a safe foster home, she’s proven her devotion and heart. Now, it’s her turn for happiness. Kismet thrives with other dogs—she plays enthusiastically with younger pups and is gentle with older ones. She’s housebroken, confidently uses the dog door, and sleeps quietly in her crate. Like many young dogs, she sometimes gets into a little mischief, but she’s learning to focus on appropriate chew toys. Leash walks are pleasant, although she can be cautious in unfamiliar places. Meeting new people may make her shy at first, but with patience and kindness, Kismet transforms into a snuggly, affectionate companion. She loves her humans and isn’t shy about sharing cuddles once trust is built. Highly food-motivated, she already knows "sit" and is quick to pick up hand-signal commands. With ongoing training and a loving, patient family, Kismet will continue to thrive. Ready to give a deserving pup a new start? Kismet just might be the one for you. Your new best friend is just one click away.
