Betsy is an indoor / outdoor cat with a personality. Named after Betsy Ross, she was first spotted by her rescuing mom on the 4th of July and at that time, Betsy was living in a city drainage system - so she had a tough start. This little girl is now full of grit and resilience - a little survivor with a playful, flirtatious side, a soft meow and loyal spirit, often coming when called like a devoted friend. She's not a cat that does a lot of snuggling or lap sitting. She's more of an independent girl, but she enjoys lounging around, soaking up sunbeams. Betsy is a true character. She can be a bit feisty when picked up, but she makes up for it with her big heart and a sweet spirit.
