About Calista
Calista is a true shadow dog, happiest when she’s with people and close by your side. Her short black and brindle coat makes her stand out, and she’s got the eager, affectionate nature that melts hearts fast. Born in late September 2022 (which makes her a charming Libra—maybe that explains her desire for closeness), Calista is very food-motivated and quick to pick up new skills. She’s already house trained and crate trained, and she knows her basic manners. Spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, she’s set for a smooth transition home. Calista does best as the only pet—she isn’t looking to share her home with other dogs or cats. Her foster family can vouch for her loving, loyal side, and would love to see her settled in a home with a fully fenced yard. We adopt within 45 minutes of Toledo, OH and require a home visit prior to adoption. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
