Poor John was dumped off of Highway 45. A local business owner saw him running into traffic and scooped him up. Our fantastic partner, The Pooch Pad, agreed to house him until placement could be found. John is doing great in boarding, but we would love to get him into a foster or adoptive home. Like so many dogs who come into our care, John is heartworm-positive, but with treatment, he will go on to lead a happy, healthy life. John is crate-trained and very close to being fully potty trained. He loves to play with our other dogs in boarding and does best with dogs who are not super dominant.
