About Shelly
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Shelly is an extra-large, golden tabby gentleman with a charming personality and a flair for independence. Having spent more than two years surviving bravely in a parking lot, Shelly is now absolutely loving life indoors and is grateful for comfort and care. At approximately five years old, he’s a smart and talkative companion who adores being petted—always on his terms. Shelly truly thrives in a home where people are ready to shower him with attention when he requests it, but he isn’t much of a lap cat and likes his personal space now and then. He’s happiest as the only cat in the home since human companionship is what he enjoys most. His affectionate nature shines brightest around gentle adults and children. Shelly is neutered, fully vaccinated, and FIV positive (but FELV negative), having recently aced his dental care appointment. His short, orange-red tabby coat adds to his striking appearance. Born under the star sign of Aries, Shelly is spirited and full of heart—qualities often found in Aries cats! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
