About Fitz

Fitz is a goofy, playful boy with a real love for tug-of-war and long, sniff-filled walks. In his foster home, he’s been getting the hang of leash walking and coming when called, and he’s picked up those skills quickly. Fitz is a bit wary when strangers visit, but he warms up if given a little time and proper introductions. He relaxes well in his crate and stays happy when he has food or toys around. Fitz really blossoms with other dogs and would thrive where he has canine friends. He needs an adult-only environment, as young children make him uneasy. He fits right in with dogs and does just fine living with cats. His adopters will receive free training sessions with Mountain Mutts LLC to ensure a smooth transition and make sure everyone gets off on the right foot. Fitz offers easy companionship and plenty of affection if you give him the right space and support. He’s ready for a second act with a family who’ll match his pace and his quirky heart. Your new best friend is just one click away.
