Cavalier King Charlesauggie
AvailableAuggie is a 7 year old, neutered male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in Omaha, NE, with a tricolor (brown, black, and white) coat. He’s vaccinated and lives with a grade 4 heart murmur, so he’s on ongoing heart medications that will need lifelong management and regular veterinary checkups. Despite his special needs, he enjoys time with people and has a gentle, shy personality.
About Cavalier King Charlesauggie
Auggie’s been through his share of vet visits—his heart murmur has progressed over the past year and his meds have been adjusted, but none of it keeps him from playing or looking for attention from his foster. He still runs around, follows his foster mom everywhere, and likes to hang out with his foster brother, Stormy. While shy at first, once he warms up, he’s more likely to climb into your lap or lie next to you if you settle in on the floor. He especially likes quiet time outside on the deck and will cuddle on the couch if you bring him up. House manners are still a work in progress; he’s good about not going to the bathroom in his kennel but isn’t perfect yet. His sensitive stomach means he can’t handle food for sensitive skin. He’ll require heart medicine for life and regular six-month vet checks. Despite his heart condition, vets say his medications are working well and he has the chance for a long, happy life. He gets along with other dogs and children. Auggie’s an adult Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in Omaha, NE. Born June 18, he's a Gemini—which fits his playful, dual-sided personality.
