Our boy Kevin came to us with his BFF Tessa. They were living in a very sad situation by a river in a pen by a homeless encampment. They had very little exposure to humans and were terribly neglected. We think Kevin is around 4 years old and he is 12 pounds of personality. This little ham is learning how to live life to the fullest at LTR. He loves the other dogs, the horses, the goats, the fields, the toys, the house, the shelter, the barns and his foster mom. He basically loves everything. It’s as though he just realized life can be beautiful. It’s taking time for him to warm up to the other volunteers but he is a wonderful dog with lots of love to give. He sleeps at the foot of the bed and seems to be housebroken which is a miracle considering. He doesn’t stray and despite being terrified on arrival, he has never tried to bite. He warmed up to his foster mom in about two weeks and the bond is strong. He will bond quickly to his very lucky new home. Kevin is ready for adventure and love!
