Despite his senior status, he’s always ready for an adventure, whether that’s a brisk walk around the block or hopping into the car for a ride—which happens to be his favorite. Eugene loves human companionship and seeks closeness with his person throughout the day. He enjoys the company of other dogs, especially females, and gets along well with cats and older children, making him a versatile family companion. His playful spirit comes alive when it’s time for training or showing off new tricks, and he’d be thrilled to join you for some agility fun if you’re up for it. Although he's initially a bit shy with new people, a dose of affection helps him warm up, revealing his endearing and spirited personality. He especially adores grabbing his leash for walks.
