About Nyx

Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Nyx arrived after her previous shelter had no other kittens her age for companionship. When she joined the baby room filled with kittens her age, her bold character quickly became apparent. Independent and sometimes a bit bossy, Nyx sets her own terms for feline friendships, but she genuinely enjoys human company. She is perfectly happy entertaining herself, and when she's ready for affection, she'll nestle into your lap for love and attention. With her adorable black fur and sturdy little frame, Nyx is more than prepared to bring joy and warmth into her new forever home. She would thrive as your only cat and is truly a remarkable companion. Nyx is also an FIP Survivor. Once considered 100% fatal, Feline Infectious Peritonitis now has a much brighter prognosis. As of 2023, treatment is saving about 80% of cats diagnosed, and new veterinary advances mean these survivors can enjoy normal lives without ongoing medication or special diets—just regular checkups and plenty of love. Nyx has overcome a lot and is now healthy, resilient, and ready for her second chance at happiness. Your new best friend is just one click away.
