About Maverick
Your new best friend is just one click away. Meet Maverick. This sweet boy has had a difficult journey, but he's proven to be resilient and loving every step of the way. Originally rescued after being found as a stray in Memphis, Maverick experienced some turbulence but has since settled into boarding, where he charms everyone he meets. Boarding staff describe Maverick as the best boy—friendly with other dogs, affectionate with all people, and comfortable around children. Maverick is estimated to have been born on 7/9/21, making him nearly three years old as of May 2024—and with his sun sign being Cancer, he’s destined to be loyal and deeply caring with his forever family. He is especially happy when riding in the car and delights in having canine company; Maverick needs to be adopted into a home with a female dog companion. Maverick has shown his good nature by getting along well with both kids and other dogs, and he’s ready for a family who can offer him the stability he deserves. Although he previously tested positive for heartworms, Maverick has received his treatment and is on the mend. He is already neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations, including rabies, Bordetella, and Parvo/distemper, and is also microchipped. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
