About Copper

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Copper, once called Pax, is a beautiful golden-colored Australian Cattle Dog and Labrador Retriever mix whose name fits his coloring perfectly! Copper was adopted as a pup with his brother and has grown into an active, medium-sized, 40-pound, 9-month-old dog. While his previous home wasn't the right match for his high energy, Copper is eager for a fresh start with a young, active family, especially one with other dogs or children to join in his playful adventures. He's socializing well in his foster home with other pups of similar size and age. Though Copper is one of the shyer siblings, it's understandable given his past—but his gentle, loving nature shines through. Copper's mom, who looks like a Min Pin, is already in her forever home too, but DNA results show the pups are mostly Australian Cattle Dog and Labrador Retriever. Copper was born on June 8, 2024, making him a Gemini—a sign known for its playful and quick-witted personality! His adoption fee helps cover vetting, including his neuter, microchip, heartworm test at six months, rabies shot, bordetella, and parvo/distemper shots, plus deworming and flea/tick prevention. Copper is still learning about house training, but he is eager to please and would thrive in an attentive, loving family setting. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
