About Margaret
Think you are the one? Submit an application! Margaret is an easygoing mixed breed dog with a heartwarming story. Rescued at 6 months old from a hoarding situation, she had little exposure to the outside world before her rescue. In foster care, she's blossomed into a grateful indoor companion, eager to discover all the pleasures of home life. Margaret loves her toys and can't resist a tasty treat. At about 30 pounds with a beautiful short black coat, Margaret adores the company of both bigger and smaller dogs, making her an excellent choice for a home seeking a companion pup. However, sheโs also content to be the center of attention as an only dog. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and tested for heartworm, so she's all set for her new forever home. If youโre ready for a devoted best friend who will reward you with loyalty and affection, Margaret is waiting at Short Mountain Dog Rescue. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
