About Libby
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Libby is a sweet, medium-sized Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mixed breed girl who has shown incredible resilience and heart. Having come to the rescue in great pain with a serious paw injury, she has made a full recovery and is now ready for the next chapter in a loving home. Libby's early trauma explains why she can be timid at first, but with kindness and patience, her loving personality shines through. This playful pup loves a good game of fetch (she even brings the ball back and drops it!) and enjoys the company of other friendly dogs. Libby rides calmly in the car, takes delight in a gentle breeze, and is house trained as well as excellent on leash. She would do best in a quiet, adult-only home with structure, clear boundaries, and ongoing safe socialization. A big, secure backyard in a low-traffic neighborhood is ideal for her, and she'd thrive alongside another confident dog who can show her the way. Libby is seeking a patient, supportive forever family who can help her gain confidence and feel secure. She is currently located with Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue Group in Southern California. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
