About Jupiter
Jupiter is a striking chocolate and black boy who quickly wins people over with his energy and cleverness. He thrives on daily walks, tug-of-war, and food puzzles—he genuinely seems to enjoy training and problem-solving. Over the last few months in foster care, Jupiter has shown real progress, especially working through his leash reactivity. Patience, treats, and plenty of space from his triggers, like other dogs and cyclists, have helped him gain confidence. He’s quite resourceful—able to leap baby gates and even operate doors when motivated. Jupiter loves to snuggle and always aims to please. He still needs support with his confidence around other dogs, but his outlook is bright with continued training and structure. He’s likely to be a great running buddy for an active adopter. His foster notes he’s getting the hang of potty training and feels comfortable in his crate, but he’ll let you know if he feels left out. At heart, Jupiter is a big, joyful presence, well-suited for a lively household ready for an affectionate sidekick. Click apply to start the adoption process.
