About Drako

Click apply to start the adoption process. Say hello to Drako, an endearing Labrador Retriever searching for his forever home. Drako, lovingly called "D" by his foster mom, has blossomed in foster care after some challenging times. He finds great comfort and security in having another dog companion around, whether at home, on walks, or in the car. While loud noises can startle him, Drako is learning each day to trust his humans with the loving support of his foster brother. He truly enjoys his daily walks (especially with canine friends), and while he sometimes gets nervous in the backyard, he feels much braver with people nearby. Drako loves his crate for sleep and relaxation and likes to be close to his foster mom, often keeping her company while she works. He may not have met cats yet, but he's open to having a feline friend in his new home. Drako has so much love to share and is eager for a family that will appreciate his gentle spirit, provide companionship, and help him feel safe and supported. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
