Winky
AvailableWinky is a young, medium-sized mixed breed female living in Mobile, AL. She is house trained and has already been spayed. Winky gets along well with other dogs and is friendly around cats. About Winky
Winky showed up scared and barely recognizable, found living in a car. She isn’t quite a year old and has probably already raised a litter out on her own—her past is rough, but her spirit isn’t broken. Early on, she looked so much like a house elf the name stuck. A month in foster and you wouldn’t recognize her. Playful, curious, and full of goofy energy, Winky gets along great with her foster siblings and even befriended the resident house rabbit. New people still make her nervous; if she gets spooked, she’ll hide out or let fly a bark or two, but she’s showing steady progress with everyday exposure. With someone patient and ready to help her keep building trust, she’ll make a devoted companion. Winky is ready for a home that can see how far she’s come, and where she can keep growing into herself. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
