Jax came in after being found wandering with two other dogs, taken in by a Good Samaritan who made sure he landed somewhere safe. At about 8 months old and 45 pounds, he’s goofy, sweet, and really just wants to curl up in your lap. Jax does well in a kennel for several hours without accidents, but he’s still learning house manners and isn’t fully house trained yet. Leash walking is a work in progress. He absolutely gets along with other dogs and loves being around people—including kids—though he sometimes jumps up when excited. Toys are his treasures; he’ll gather them and pile them all around him. Baths and car rides are still unfamiliar, but he’s highly food motivated and easy to train with treats.
