About Pudge

Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Pudge is a lovable, goofy 8-9 month old Hound mix who brings endless playful puppy energy to every moment. This eager-to-please pup adores fetch, toys, and soaking up all the attention you can give. He’s especially motivated by treats—especially those with a strong smell! Pudge is friendly and outgoing with everyone he meets, yet his bouncy, mouthy play style means he’s best suited for a home without small children. While he’s a little unsure around cats and would prefer a feline-free home, he’s delighted to romp and play with other friendly dogs. Pudge is still polishing his manners, but already walks well on a leash and thrives in an active environment with guidance. He’s looking for a dedicated family ready to help him grow into the best companion, as well as one willing to meet adoption requirements such as providing an exclusively indoor home, maintaining up-to-date vaccines and preventatives, and keeping pets spayed or neutered. Pudge’s adoption includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccines, preventives, and a complimentary basic training course—a great start for his new chapter! They are waiting with paws crossed!
