House trained and currently located in Santa Barbara, CA, Charlie is known for his loving nature and easygoing demeanor with both dogs and children. He does have some arthritis and is on medication for it, but that doesnāt dampen his cheerful personality.

Charlie tips the scales at 100 lbs and is nothing but pure affection in a big package. Rescued from a Los Angeles shelter on his last day with his friend Rebecca, Charlie now lives on a ranch property in Ramona, CA, often bunking in the garage when heās not exploring the yard. The separation from people leaves him anxious, and itās clear he just wants to be part of the familyāheāll happily tag along for any activity and thrives on connection. Charlie greets every dog like an old pal (but wants nothing to do with horses), and he has proven gentle and easy with kids in his foster home. While his adventurous streak remains, arthritis is slowing him down a bit; a good walk beats jogging every time these days. Charlie doesnāt need a vast running range, but he does crave companionship and purposeāheād make an excellent sidekick for someone who works from home or brings their dog to the office.
