Stanley has spent most of his 2 years of life caged in a tiny kennel in someone's yard. He would break free from time to time, but would always be returned. Finally, our animal control had the owner surrender Stanley because he was so underweight, he was almost emaciated. We placed Stanley with a foster to give him nourishing food, and also help him heal from his cruel past. He immediately began to blossom with love and attention, and he almost craves your love and attention. He is quiet, kennel trained (the right way!), we are working on housebreaking and he is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He gained 9 pounds in the first two weeks! We did find that Stanley is heartworm positive, so he is undergoing treatment right now. Stanley likes girl dogs best, and is not a fan of cats. He deserves a loving family who will shower him with the attention he needs!
