Saguaro has a big personality and an even bigger story. She started life on a tougher path—struggling to gain weight while her siblings thrived, despite constant support and bottle feeding from her fosters. She hit milestones quickly, like opening her eyes before the others, but that revealed another quirk: her right eyelid wouldn't move. As she finally began to grow, it was clear the whole right side of her face lacked movement. Vets never found a root cause, but Saguaro just kept going, though she stayed smaller than the rest. She manages fine, using her third eyelid for her right eye and may just need drops later in life. Add in some extra drool and her habit of raising only one ear, and you get a dog nobody forgets.
