About Mirabel
Mirabel came from a rough start in the Texas dumping grounds, but her journey since rescue has been nothing short of inspiring. Despite early hardships, her spirit shines brighter now, eyes full of hope. Fresh out of heartworm treatment, Mirabel is ready to settle into a permanent home. She's currently in foster care in the St. Louis area, experiencing a busy environment with plenty of new dogs—and she's made it clear that she prefers to be the only dog at home. Mirabel is wary of unpredictable children and finds comfort in calmer, more predictable settings. She spooks easily from her time on the streets, but she's eager to please and appreciates reminders that she's safe. Mirabel thrives with structure, is both crate trained and house trained, and especially enjoys long sniff walks where she can explore at her own pace. She’s playful and sharp, picking up on routines quickly. Mirabel just needs someone to show her that she’s finally home, where she can feel free and secure for good. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
