Hello. My name is RALPH! I am a 1-year, 7-month old Labrador / Pit mix. Here is everything the Shelter staff and volunteers have learned about me during my time here: ENERGY LEVEL High – I am a dog that will do best with an active person or family. • I would love to get up and go adventure with you! • I am easily excited, which means I can get mouthy/jumpy and worked up. • I would do best with positive outlets for my energy and a calm environment. SKILLS • While at the shelter I have shown staff that I have basic training and know sit and shake! TOYS • I really enjoy playing with toys. LEASH • I walk well on a leash but can be strong when I get excited. PLAYGROUP – While at the shelter I have participated in playgroups. • I can be picky about my canine companions. MISCELLANEOUS • I need a home *WITHOUT* cats or other small animals - I like to chase them! • Snacks are a great way to make friends with me and teach me fun tricks. • I really enjoy the company of my human friends. • It is recommended that I meet any current dogs living in the home prior to getting adopted. • I may do better with an experienced owner - I'm a big strong guy!
