About Piper

Piper is a black Lab and Pit mix who weighs in at 65 lbs and sits comfortably in the large dog camp. She’s been at the shelter since about age one, so she’s clocked years of loyal, patient waiting. Now around three to four years old, she’s shown over and over what a good girl she is. Piper is not only potty trained, but also genuinely great with people and does especially well with kids. She’s social with select dogs, but not all—so a meet-and-greet is important if there are other dogs at home. Piper’s never been one to cause a scene. She’s looking for a family where her gentle, friendly nature will be appreciated, and where she can finally settle in for good. They say every dog deserves a home, but Piper especially has earned hers. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
