Mashed
AvailableMashed is a playful, baby male tuxedo with a short black and white coat. He’s medium-sized, house trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. Mashed is currently in Jefferson, LA, and enjoys the company of other cats and children. He doesn’t have special needs, and he thrives when given opportunities to play and interact with people.
About Mashed
Mashed came in as part of the “Potato Kittens” rescue, a group scooped up from a colony that couldn’t manage more mouths. Initially a bit reserved, Mashed and his brothers have thrived thanks to plenty of gentle socializing in the cat playroom and daily time with the college volunteers. You’ll see Mashed step forward first when it’s time to inspect new people or check out a toy—he’s the curious one, always eager to find out what’s happening. Outgoing by kitten standards, he’ll be the first to play, the first to settle in, and the first at the toy pile. Mashed and his siblings currently test FIV+, which is common for kittens this young and may change at retest. Even if it doesn’t, FIV+ cats can enjoy full, active indoor lives. Mashed gets along well with other cats and is open to life with respectful kids. He takes a little patience at first, but give him time and he’ll turn into your playful shadow. He’s neutered, vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested, and microchipped. If you don’t have other pets at home, the rescue prefers paired adoptions for these kittens to keep bonds strong. Mashed is ready for his next adventure in Jefferson, LA. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
