About Taco
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Affectionate, curious, and energetic, Taco delights in attention—soaking up compliments from everyone he meets. Those soft amber eyes radiate intelligence, and his freckled nose paired with tall, dappled ears give him a unique charm, as if he rolled through a puddle of chocolate and shook himself into sheer handsomeness. Welcomed into a loving foster home after being found by a Good Samaritan, Taco has transformed into a polite and courteous young dog. He's crate- and house-trained, sleeping soundly through the night and mastering cues like sit, down, okay, wait, and gimme five. Currently, Taco is working hard on "drop it" and "off," and he always takes treats so gently you'll be impressed. He enjoys carrots, bananas, hot dogs, and crunchy water, with a fondness for any safe vegetable. Though still young, Taco explores with his mouth, so he does best when crated if left alone for longer periods. He loves to chew toys near you, enjoys scritches and snuggles on the couch, and absolutely adores all kinds of belly rubs, even performing adorable stretches for extra affection. Outdoors, he relishes walks, chasing bugs, and playing with leaves. While he gets excited by other dogs and small critters and is learning how best to greet them, he is steadily improving his leash manners and finds joy in car rides, especially trips to the pet store. Taco is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on all vaccinations. Born July 26th, this makes him a Leo—so you can expect a warm and playful side! This sweet, bright boy is ready to flourish in a patient, loving forever home. Are you the one he’s waiting for? Make their next chapter their best one yet.
