Toby
AvailableToby is a small, long-coated, neutered male Pomeranian mix living in Barrington, IL. He is house trained, full of personality, and vaccinated. Known for his confidence and playful spirit, Toby is ready to settle in with his perfect match.
About Toby
Toby eased into his foster home like he’d always lived there. He’s outgoing, people-focused, energetic, and quick-witted, with a spunky streak that adds to his charm. Toys are his thing, and he’s generous with his attention. Toby carries a bit of extra weight, which only adds to his irresistible appeal. He shows strong signs of having been someone’s dog—his manners are dialed in. Toby’s house trained, enjoys structured routines, and waits for his food so excitedly he’ll balance on his hind legs in anticipation. With the typical Pomeranian mix spirit, Toby is active and pretty chatty. He’ll bark at noises, at toys, or just for the fun of it. When crated, though, he quiets right down and has no trouble at night. Because he likes to speak his mind, a quiet apartment setting isn’t a great fit. Toby seems easygoing with kids who like to play. He’s played well with a small dog and should also do fine with larger friendly dogs given his confidence. Cats are an unknown so far. Walks are still pending—his foster predicts he’ll love exploring. Toby brings endless happiness and personality, ready to liven up his new home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
