Missy is a beautiful female, gray tabby cat. She was found as a stray in North Durham, given birth to wonderful kitties, was fed and cared outdoor. She's currently thriving in a quiet foster home and is ready for a fresh start, away from stress of survival. She is looking for a calm, loving home where she will receive the love and care this time and she has not been with dogs or children. She still easily gets startled with slight movement or noise to hide or run away. A quiet cat, with a soft spirit, very observant and quick to learn. She loves to eat, not a picky eater, will rub her head on your legs and meows when preparing food. She's independent, can play on her own but will love to play with you or another cat of her age. Might need some time to warm up and explore to a new home, still adjusting to being handled by people but is slowly coming around. Someone who is willing to take the time to build trust at her pace. Not a snuggly cat now but with time and patience she'll make a good and sweet friendly companion.
