About Sage

Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Sage, an adorable Heinz 57 terrier mix who is approximately five years old. Sage came into care as a stray and, unfortunately, was not reclaimed. This marks her second time looking for a forever home since her previous adopter was deployed overseas and unable to arrange care during his absence. Sage has a loving nature and knows basic commands, making her a wonderful candidate for an active home seeking a loyal companion to join in on all the adventures. She adores children and, with slow introductions, gets along well with other dogs—her dominant personality shines with her dog friends, but she is always gentle with people. While her compatibility with cats remains unknown, Sage is spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, on prevention, and house trained. Sage is hoping to be adopted soon into a family that wants a joyful, people-oriented buddy. Her adoption fee includes all necessary vet work. Out-of-state adoptions are welcome, but meeting Sage in person is required. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
