About Dopey
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Dopey, a wonderful terrier mix waiting for a loving home. As with all Troy Animal Rescue Project pets, Dopey will be up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. He is given regular monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks, and heartworm, ensuring he's as healthy as possible. At TARP, every adoption includes a thorough process: you'll fill out an application, provide vet or personal references, and complete a virtual home visit so that both adopter and pet are perfectly matched. Once approved, you'll be able to schedule an appointment to meet Dopey and any other pets you may be interested in. Final adoption steps ensure all animals are in the best of health before going home. Please note that TARP does not conduct same day adoptions, and the $100 adoption fee helps support more rescues like Dopey. If you're a renter, be sure to provide your lease showing pets are allowed. January 1st is Dopey's birthday, making him a determined and loyal Capricorn—traits that make him a devoted companion! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
