About Sunny
Sunny carries a lot of history for her 7 years, and it’s clear she’s waited long enough for good things. She’s a large Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix who spent over 550 days in a shelter because of a welfare situation, but all she wants now is calm and comfort. At first, Sunny prefers to keep to herself, a little nervous and shy, but she keeps opening up, especially around other dogs. She’s started to seek out soft places—couches, beds—and that’s where she feels safest. Sunny is house trained and does fine in a crate if needed, though she’d rather be left to lounge in the quiet. Barking is rare; this is a dog who thrives on peace and patience. She gets along well with dogs, cats, and children, and has even started brief play. A home that moves at her pace, with gentle people who understand slow progress, would suit her best. Sunny deserves a new chapter that matches her gentle heart. Ready to fall in love?
